Thomas Søndergård, known for his skill in leading opera, now brings to the Twin Cities the high drama of Puccini’s Turandot, which features the emotionally-riveting aria “Nessun Dorma.” The cast is headlined by star soprano Christine Goerke in the title role.

Christine Goerke will sing the role of Marie in Wozzeck with the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, NDR Vokalensemble, and Hamburger Alsterspatzen under the baton of Alan Gilbert.

Christine will perform Brahms' Two Songs for Voice, Viola, and Piano, Op. 91 as a part of the Great Lakes Chamber Festival's closing night concert: Wireworks.
